Feeding & Picky Eating Support
Helping your child enjoy mealtimes can sometimes feel like a challenge. Our Feeding Service is designed to make eating a positive experience while building healthy, lasting habits. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we create individualized plans that support children in exploring new foods, developing self-feeding skills, and overcoming mealtime struggles.
How We Help Children
Every child is unique, and so are their eating challenges. Our therapists work step by step to:
-
Encourage acceptance of new foods and flavors
-
Support children in feeding themselves with confidence
-
Reduce difficulties such as food refusal or avoidance
-
Address sensitivities to certain textures or tastes
-
Promote safer and calmer eating behaviors to prevent rapid eating, rumination, or vomiting
Parent Training & Family Involvement
We believe progress happens not only in therapy sessions but also at home and in the community. That’s why parent training is a core part of our program. Families receive practical strategies and coaching to help children continue learning healthy eating habits across different environments; whether at home, in school, or during family outings.
Challenges We Address
Our Feeding Service is tailored to support children with:
Food refusal & selectivity
Texture sensitivities
Behavioral challenges at mealtime
Rapid eating or rumination
Induced vomiting
Developing self-feeding skills
Generalizing eating behaviors across settings
With the right guidance, picky eating doesn’t have to hold your child back. Our team is here to help children, and families to enjoy mealtimes with more confidence, variety, and ease.
